This strain-gauge load cell converts applied mechanical load into an electrical signal for a suitable measurement circuit. It is listed with an 80kg capacity and an aluminium-alloy body for integration into compatible weighing assemblies.
It can be considered for a custom digital scale, parcel-weighing prototype or educational measurement project. A usable scale also needs a suitable platform, mounting arrangement, electronics, software and calibration.
A compatible HX711 load-cell amplifier is one possible interface for a microcontroller-based build. Check the sensor’s wiring, excitation requirements and output characteristics against the amplifier before connecting it. Do not assume a wire-colour pinout or connect an unspecified load-cell output directly to a digital input.
Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi projects require appropriate interface electronics, logic-level compatibility and software. The sensor is not a self-contained USB scale.
