What is AD620 Instrumentation Amplifier?
AD620 is an instrumentation amplifier which is low cost and high accuracy. It requires an external resister to set gain of 1 to 10,000. AD620 is 8 lead SOIC and DIP packaging and it is smaller than other designs and offers lower power. It supports 1.3mA max supply current. And it is good for battery power, for portable applications. AD620 is highly accurate of 40 ppm non linearity, low offset voltage of 50 uV max, and offset drift of 0.6 µV/°C max. it is ideal for use in precision data acquisition systems. It has low noise and input bias current. It is low power and well suited for medical applications such as ECG and non-invasive blood pressure monitors.
AD620 consist on low input bias current of 1.0 nA max with the use of superbeta processing in the input stage. It works as a preamplifier due to its low input voltage. It is well suited for multiplexed applications with its settling time of 15us to 0.01%. its cost is also low enough to enable designs with one in-amp per channel.
