The Arduino Uno R3 in Pakistan is a microcontroller board based on a removable, dual-inline-package (DIP) ATmega328 AVR microcontroller. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs and 6 can be used as analog inputs). Programs can be loaded on to it from the easy-to-use Arduino computer program. The Arduino has an extensive support community, which makes it a very easy way to get started working with embedded electronics. The R3 is the third, and latest, revision of the Arduino Uno.

Arduino Uno r3 is a microcontroller and ATmega328 is used in this controller. Arduino UNO r3 in Pakistan gets from it differs from all other boards. It does not use USB to serial driver chip. ATmega is used USB to serial converter. It has 14 digital pins, 6 analog pins, 16 Mhz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, and also a reset button. In Italian Uno means One, it means Arduino microcontroller has its own memory, analog and digital pins, and USB connector too. It has a complete package with one microcontroller.


Power :

Arduino Uno R3 is powered by via USB connection. It is also powered via the external power supply. Arduino Uno’s price in Pakistan is affordable.

The adapter which is connected to Arduino is 2.1mm. leads of the battery can be inserted in the Gnd and Vin pin.  6 to 20 volts are limit of external supply. The recommended voltages are 7 to 12 volts.


The power pins are as follows :


We can supply voltage through this pin. if supplying voltage via the power jack, then access it through VIN pin.


It provides 5V from the regulation on the board. It has two input supply pins which are 3.3V and 5V.


3.3 voltages supply generated by the onboard regulator. The maximum current draw is 50mA.

GND. It is Ground pins.


This pin provide reference voltage on microcontroller operates.


The ATmega328 has 32 KB (with 0.5 KB used for the bootloader) memory.


Input and Output :

These 14 digital pins on the Uno can be used as an input or output, using pinMode(), digitalWrite(), and digitalRead() functions. They operate at 5 volts.



0 (RX) and 1 (TX). Used to receive (RX) data and used for transmitting (TX) TTL serial data.

External Interrupts:

2 and 3. 2 and 3 pins can be configured to trigger an interrupt on a low value, a rising or falling edge, or a change in value. See the attachInterrupt() function for details.


3, 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11. Provide 8-bit PWM output with the analogWrite() function.


10 (SS), 11 (MOSI), 12 (MISO), 13 (SCK). These pins support SPI communication using the SPI library.


  1. There is a built-in LED. It consists of digital pin 13.


A4 or SDA pin and A5 or SCL pin. Support TWI communication used the Wire library.


Reference voltage for the analog inputs. Used with analogReference().


It has a separate RESET button that resets the microcontroller. ATmega8, 16, and 328 is identical.
